Mechanical Research & Design Inc. is located in Manitowoc, WI. Mechanical Research & Design, founded in 1976 offers excellent products and services and is looking forward to working with you for all your pneumatic seals, pipe test plugs, mechanical plugs, reactor nozzle plugs, specialty plugs, pipe joint testers, annular seals, inflatable seals, bulkheads, and materials handling applications.

Throughout the years, we have worked closely with municipalities and industries ranging from nuclear power plants and utilities to heavy equipment manufacturers in meeting our customer's schedules as well as developing innovative product designs to provide sealing solutions. Our Product Line
Our product line contains standard and nonstandard sizes. We can provide pneumatic seals and sealing solutions in sizes from 1/2" to 144" with pressures up to 5000 PSIG. We stock standard sizes to 72" diameter, but can usually deliver other sizes in two weeks. Unusual sizes and applications are welcome at Mechanical Research & Design.
